A little about me.
When I look back on my childhood, I remember two distinct places where I found true joy - one was at the National Art & Hobby shop on Magazine Street in New Orleans - I loved seeing the pastel colors and paint brushes and rows of art materials and imagined playing with them all day. The other place was on the beach in Pass Christian, Mississippi where I spent my summers - I loved sand between my toes, conch shells and seagull foot prints and finding treasures washed up on the shore. These places continue to inspire me to this - my 52nd year on the planet.
I took my time becoming an artist. I lived in New York and Los Angeles with stints in a jewelry studio, the movie business, the dot com world and my own graphic design business for almost 20 years. It takes what it takes and it all took me here. To creating this work full of life's moments, far away travels, song and dance and heartache and mystery and clarity and gratitude and motherhood and color and shape - with treasures I have found along the way and living the dream of being surrounded by art supplies.
